I received my Ph.D. in psychology from Yale University in 2000 with a focus in developmental and clinical psychology. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Stanford University Medical School at the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Health Council. Following my year at Stanford, I completed my post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. I then joined the medical staff at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, where I worked with children and families and taught and supervised interns and pediatric residents for four years.
I relocated to the Santa Rosa area and established my private practice in 2004. I am a member of the Redwood Psychological Association.
I offer a series of weekly educational programs promoting health, mindfulness, and well-being in women. These “Joy Groups” are offered to foster growth and personal development, using behavioral strategies based on goal-setting theory and the science of happiness.
I offer a complimentary 10-minute consultation. I believe strongly that the psychologist-client fit is an essential part of achieving your goals. During this consultation, feel free to ask questions and make sure that I would be someone whom you would feel comfortable meeting and working with. You can reach me at (707) 490-2241, or you can fill out my contact form and I will get back to you.
